AdultCare insurance provides practical and affordable cover for adult carers.

It is designed for adult carers who have adults in their care, on a full, daily, or part time basis, or provide residential care within their own homes or the home of the adult being cared for.

This policy has been written by professionals who, with the benefit of many years experience, have constructed the insurance to match your specific needs as a carer at a competitive premium.

AdultCare  has been arranged in conjunction with local authorities' social services departments.

• Public Liability Insurance - Limit of Indemnity £3 million (£5 million is available on request for an increased premium)
• Legal Expenses - limit of indemnity £50,000
• Cover for up to three relief carers - subject to additional information
• Optional Extension - up to £1,000 of unspecified items of care equipment.

Advice is given on:

• Tax: including VAT, self-assessment income tax and Inland Revenue audits
• Legal Matters: including employment and contract disputes
• Health and Medical information: including food allergies, medication, illnesses, vaccinations, nutrition and exercise.

Help is provided through:

• Emergency Repair Support: Giving access to approved contractors for plumbing, electrical, gas and roofing repairs (you will be responsible for the cost of the repair).
• Confidential Counselling: A valuable support service to help you through those difficult times whether because of stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, bereavement or health related. It includes onwards referral to relevant voluntary and or professional services, where appropriate.
• Dedicated Helplines: Provided by DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Ltd that will give you professional advice and support at any time of day or night - available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
