Our professional development training guides have been specifically designed to support childcarers who want to update their knowledge in their own time. They are free to Morton Michel policyholders, normally they cost £75.00.
The EYFS became compulsory in September 2008 for early years providers in Ofsted registered settings attended by young children. The framework of our courses ensures that a consistent approach to care, learning and development from birth to the end of foundation stage. They have been produced to help childcarers have a deeper understanding of the principles and commitments in order to meet with the needs of children and parents.
The courses also cover the EYFS principles to help young children achieve the five outcomes - staying safe, being healthy, enjoying & achieving, making a positive contribution and achieving economic well-being (Every Child Matters). They provide excellent opportunities for reflection, development and improvement and have been designed to work alongside the EYFS pack.
