Two early years experts have launched a new organisation called NEYTCO to give early years trainers and consultants a voice and an online member directory specifically for them.
Laura Henry and Catriona Nason, launched NEYTCO at a Parliamentary event at the House of Commons.
Paid members of NEYTCO will be listed in an online member directory. They will also be able to take advantage of a forum for discussing relevant issues affecting the early years sector, receive up-to-date information on Government policy, discounts on products and services and attend networking events.
Laura Henry, chief executive of NEYTCO, said: 'The National Early Years Trainers and Consultants Organisation (NEYTCO) was established to provide an integrated forum where both trainers and consultants can focus on the thoughtful, valuable sharing of experience and expertise to help early years settings and educators.
'There has never been a more important time for the Early Years Sector to come together to share and collaborate our shared vision and passion, which will have a positive impact on children's outcomes.'
Ms Henry was recently named in Nursery Management Today's 'power 20' list of the most influential people in childcare in the UK.
She has years of experience in the early years and offers training and support to childcare providers and parents. She also runs the popular online, weekly, professional development support network via Twitter, called #EYTalking.
Catriona Nason, co-founder and vice-chair of NEYTCO, is the founder of Daycare Doctor, an early years consultancy which offers business support. Before that she ran a nursery in London and in 2003, sold it for a six figure sum.
