Important update to our Employers’ Liability insurance
As you may know, Morton Michel is part of the wider PIB Group with access to a range of specialist insurance solutions. After careful consideration, we have taken the decision to no longer handle Employer’s Liability only business within Morton Michel. This change does not impact the other commercial insurance products we offer, where you will continue to receive specialist cover, knowledgeable service and access to our wide range of additional benefits.
Within PIB Group, Fish Insurance specialise in products to protect people in the UK and offer Employers Liability insurance within the care sector. They have partnered with Enable Limited who provide services to those who employ Nanny’s and other domestic staff that provide support duties.

What’s new when you move to an Enable Insurance policy?
- A lower price of £109 per year including IPT
- You’ll get the same specialist Nanny Employers’ Liability insurance as before which is designed for families who employ a nanny, home childcarer, or other domestic staff to work in your home.
- The policy includes £10m Employers’ Liability cover which protects you if a nanny, carer or other domestic staff worker is injured or becomes ill because of the work they do for you.
- Please note, this does not cover you against liability connected to any vehicle if the law states it must be insured, however, we will cover your liability to your employee arising from an event involving any vehicle that is not covered under a motor insurance policy.
- Additional £5m Public Liability cover. This can help protect you against costs and expenses you may become legally liable for if someone is injured, or their property is damaged, due to an event connected to support duties.
- All cover is for the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland)
- Additional cover for temporary visits overseas. Cover elsewhere in the world (excluding Public Liability cover in USA and Canada) when any employee is on a temporary visit to provide support duties to you, for up to 30 consecutive days per trip
