Personal accident
You can extend your cover to include personal accident cover which provides compensation for an insured person aged under 75 years old should they sustain accidental bodily injury arising out of an insured event, resulting in death, loss of limb, loss of sight, hearing or speech or permanent or temporary total disablement.
You will not be covered for any pre-existing physical or mental disability, infirmity, medical condition, chronic or recurring ailment, intentional self-injury, suicide or attempted suicide or injury whilst being under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs.
Business equipment
If you choose this cover, we’ll pay up to £1,000 if your work equipment is damaged while you’re working anywhere in the UK, Isle of Man, or Channel Islands. If you need a higher amount, you can ask for extra cover.
The policy won’t pay for damage to buggies, pushchairs, or toys while they’re being used, or for items that belong to you or your family.
Personal possessions
If you choose this cover, we’ll pay up to £3,000 if your household goods or personal belongings are damaged while you’re working in your employer’s home. If you need more cover, you can ask for a higher limit.
Theft is not covered if your equipment is left in an unattended vehicle or building, unless there’s clear forced entry. Everyday wear and tear and breakage of fragile items are also not covered. The cover is also subject to an excess.

If you are self employed you will need your own motor insurance to drive. If you drive your employer's car you will need to be added as a named driver to their motor insurance policy.
Do I need Employers Liability insurance for a nanny?

What happens if my nanny does not have business car insurance?
If your nanny is self-employed, or not fully covered by your own insurance, you will need to ensure your nanny has car insurance to drive.
